My name is Dr. Ashley Deans. I am in my fifteenth year as Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, serving Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield, Iowa, USA. I love to come to School every day and be with the incredibly creative, intelligent, enthusiastic, and wholesome students at Maharishi School. Did you know that top brain researchers report that modern education damages your child’s brain? It seems that the pressures and stresses a child faces as he or she navigates the often treacherous corridors of student life, from elementary school through university graduate programs, can inhibit the development of a still-developing brain, thereby not only stifling a student’s innate inner genius and natural thirst for knowledge, but also giving rise to a wide range of learning and behavioral problems.

But the answer lies not in new teaching methods or medications to sedate the brain. I know because at Maharishi School we use the Transcendental Meditation technique and Consciousness-Based education to wake up the brain—to develop the brain’s full potential.

The results are incredible. Our students are shining examples of creativity and intelligence. They have won over a hundred state, national, and international titles in the past decade. Last year they won two world championships and had three world runner up finishes in DestinationImagination (a creative problem solving competition), a better showing than all the schools in California combined!

My name is Boris Lukic and I have been practicing TM technique for seven years . I live in Sarajevo , Bosnia ,Europe .Your site blog is excellent done and I am sure that your School will live forever with all those good students who are learning there .

I am also very much interested in MUM studies there , but more than three years I am trying to find addition money for studies of Environmental science there .By this way , I would like to ask you to see with your TM friends from the TM community an good option that through the tax deductions something might be done in the light of my situation .
