An excerpt from an article on sleep in the Observer, Sunday, April 9th reads, " 'The pity of it is that so many people are obliged to lead a life of anxiety and high tension.' This statement comes from the British Medical Journal but was written in September 1894. It entirely conveys what most people feel is the truth now about life in Britain." And probably life in most of the modern world as well. That is why it is so important that students in schools and colleges receive a Consciousness-Based education, which includes the practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program, including Yogic Flying. These advanced technologies of consciousness dissolve stress and tension on both an individual and societal level, leading to increased creativity and intelligence, better health, and reduced crime and conflict in society. Amazing that already in 1894 it was found that people live in anxiety. I agree that it is really important to begin with stress reduction techniques in school, e.g. by mindfulness training. In my opinion, stage fright is an important point in school as well. Please feel free to visit our website to get tips against it.
